Pandora joined the stud as a fluffy weanling! She is bred by Beyond Blue Pony Stud in Victoria and is one of the stars of the stud.

She has had a massive show career by the age of 5 and also produced a stunning filly in 2014 who is now out and bringing home the broad sashes at every outing she has had so far.

I showed her lightly as a yearling, but as I had my own babies coming up for show preparation I sold her to a good friend, Louise Bayliss, who continued showing her with great success.

Approximately 12 to 18 months later, Louise was unable to keep her due to buying a new colt and lack of room, so she came home to me.

I took her out to her first show of the season as a 3 year old, which was the NSW State Championships.

She was awarded :

Top 10 Pony of the Year

State Champion Miniature Pony Filly 3 years.

What a thrill That was the first of many major awards for her!

AMHS State Championships - Feb 2014

Truthfully, after two days of showing, I can't remember exactly what she won.

I CAN tell you that we left the ring with several State Grand Champion sashes and 5 trophies during the 2 day show.

Pandora was pregnant when she competed at the Royal, so after this final show of the season she was retired to allow her to enjoy her pregnancy.

She foaled a stunning black filly to my good friend's beautiful stallion, Glenelen Dynamite later that year.

Starbuck Lady Kaitlyn has since started her show career and with six shows under her belt has never come home without a broad sash.

After an extended break after weaning her baby, I made a last minute decision to take Pandora to the APSB Feature Show at Picton on 25/10/15.

I quite often don't show shetland as sometimes the ponies are clipped and it's not permitted, but Pandora was pulled from her leisurely life, washed and taken to the show for something to do.

She was awarded.

1st Best presented Pony N/E 8.2

2nd Best Broken Coloured

1st Mare  4 to 8 years

Champion Mare

Then Best Opposite Sex - which is runner up to the Supreme!

I was stoked and have decided she will return to the showring in 2015!

She was also used for the Child Handler class which she won with her previous owner's daughter, Kia.

They are going to go out again in November as they make a lovely pair in the Handler classes, and Kia handles her beautifully!

Pandora is in foal to senior stallion. Ambaura Apollo! Very excited for this baby!
