Thank you visiting my stud!

Starbuck Ponies was born in 2008 when I was given a miniature pony gelding called Smokey to keep my arabian gelding company.

I'd never had a miniature before and hadn't had much exposure to them, but Smokey quicky won my heart, and so Starbuck Pony Stud was born!

People tried to warn me that one won't be enough, and it's absolutely true!

Many of the photos on my site are taken by two of my best friends, Polly Ashby - from Pollyanna Photography and Emma Cooper from Deltree Photography.

Both of these ladies are tremendous talents and please check out their pages on my links page.

My ponies have been selected for type and temperament, and they are ALL important members of the family - ie: Furry Kids!

My ponies lead as natural-a-life as I can manager, even though they are shown they are allowed to be ponies, andi love mixing up what they do with the shows and things like trips to the beach - which they love!

I particularly love unusual markings - as you will see. Of course, a good horse is NEVER a bad colour .. and conformation above ANY colour! But it doesn't hurt to stand out a bit! After years of showing paints and pintos, I just love the broken coloured horses/ponies!

Left : Newest colt to arrive at Starbuck, Wedgegully Dunkeld - now gelded.

This little guy's got it all, the conformation and the looks, not to mention the breeding and the temperament.

Shown here as a yearling, he will be campaigned as a 2 year old in 2012.

What a stunner!

Right and Below : Two of my Starbuck babies from the 2011 season.

Right - Forrest, who was born from a rescue mare. I have no idea who his father is, and he had a few health issues when born, but he's a sweet little colt now.

Below - Betty and I. All my foals are well handled and extremely quiet around people.

Right: Reggie, the day he arrived.
