Thank you visiting my stud!

Starbuck Ponies was born in 2008 when I was given a miniature pony gelding called Smokey to keep my arabian gelding company.

I'd never had a miniature before and hadn't had much exposure to them, but Smokey quicky won my heart, and so Starbuck Pony Stud was born!

People tried to warn me that one won't be enough, and it's absolutely true!

My ponies have been selected for type and temperament, and they are ALL important members of the family - ie: Furry Kids!

My ponies lead as natural-a-life as I can manager, even though they are shown they are allowed to be ponies, and I love mixing up what they do with the shows and things like trips to the beach - which they love!

I particularly love unusual markings - as you will see. Of course, a good horse is NEVER a bad colour .. and conformation above ANY colour! But it doesn't hurt to stand out a bit! After years of showing paints and pintos, I just love the broken coloured horses/ponies!

I have owned Apollo since he was about 15 months of age. He has a cheeky but friendly personality and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. I feel privileged to own such a beautiful pony, and for me it was love at first sight.

Mare Power!

I have a strong emphasis on mare power, and believe that in order to breed quality foals, your mares should be of excellent breeding and type.

She then went on to take out the Supreme Miniature Pony of the Year!

I am so proud of her, and so happy for her owners, Mike and Jocelyn as they have done an amazing job with her!
